Rob Elliott has been a member of the Copiers Plus team since September of 2010. He currently serves as Sales Account Manager in our Greensboro office, where he acts as a trusted resource for North Carolina businesses. Rob works with companies to resolve issues and help improve their efficiency, in addition to assisting with setting up and networking devices. He’s an integral part of our success as a company and we’re honored to shine the spotlight on him through our People Behind The PLUS series!
Meet Rob Elliott
An Asheboro native, Rob attended Asheboro High School and still resides in his hometown today. As an extrovert and natural people person, Rob realized his knack for sales early on in life. His first job was as an office supplies and furniture salesman and he continues to find success in the field today, leaving a trail of happy customers in his wake.
Rob was recommended to Copiers Plus by a former high school coach. He was drawn to the company’s family-oriented culture, a dynamic he found appealing at some of his previous workplaces as well. Lucky for us, it was a perfect fit from the start. Now - 13 years later - we’re honored he’s still a member of the crew!
The Copiers Plus Way
It didn’t take long for Rob to show off his talent as part of the Copiers Plus team. In fact, one of his favorite work memories is closing his first sale while he was still in the ramp-up stage of his training! Since then, he has remained dedicated to keeping his customers happy day-in and day-out.
Though Rob’s first sale at Copiers Plus is a fond memory, he’s gathered a variety of other accomplishments over the years as well. When asked what he considers his biggest win to date, Rob shared that it’s been earning the business of a local school board and retaining them as a client for the last 11 years! In addition, Rob’s proud to be part of a collaborative team, where everyone is committed to helping one another succeed.
In particular, Rob mentioned that he enjoys working with the Greensboro sales team and views his co-workers as great assets in the workplace. For example, he described the work that he and two of his colleagues - Jason Shive, MPS IT Specialist, and Taylor Fuqua, Director of Managed Print - have done to improve Copiers Plus’s Managed Print Services (MPS) business. “Together, we have morphed the MPS business into what it is today,” he explained. “I have learned a lot from those two gentleman!”
Rob has brought unparalleled value to the Copiers Plus crew in many ways, especially when it comes to taking care of the customer.
“I’m most valuable as a faithful representative of what Copiers Plus stands for as a company. I always feel like I can solve any customer issues,” Rob shared. “I am also very proficient at the set-up and networking of devices and am a valuable asset in the field.” We couldn’t agree more!
Rob went on to explain that if there’s one thing customers should know about Copiers Plus, it’s that they always put the client experience at the forefront of each interaction. “We work hard to make the Copiers Plus experience great for our customers from sale to install,” he said.
On his days off, Rob likes keeping up with college sports, playing golf, and spending time with his family. He enjoys playing along with Jeopardy and watching Dateline as well, and has been known to rock out to everything from hair rock and rap to country.
