Impact Church of Wilmington believes in taking the gospel to their city, touching countless lives through their heart for serving others and building community that reflects Jesus. With a wide variety of worship experiences, programs, and outreach opportunities, the church empowers people to explore and grow in their faith while being surrounded by a welcoming and supportive community.
Copiers Plus is proud to partner with long-time vendor Kyocera Document Solutions to celebrate remarkable organizations like Impact Church through our 40 Years of Caring initiative. We’re honored to support each organization’s mission with a $500 donation to help them continue caring for the North Carolina communities they call home.
Founded in 2013, Impact Church exists to bring a transformative message of love and hope to Wilmington and beyond. As Lead Pastor Daniel Ward puts it, “We are a church that takes the gospel to our city. Our goal is to advance the kingdom of God through sharing the love of Jesus and telling of His sacrificial work on the cross for our salvation.”
This mission takes shape through weekly worship gatherings, dynamic children's and student programs, Bible studies, mission opportunities, parenting workshops, and marriage enrichment resources. At the heart of it all is a commitment to helping people discover a meaningful relationship with God and build authentic community rooted in shared values.
One of the church’s standout ministries is Camp Impact—an eight-week summer day camp that welcomes children from preschool through 6th grade. With a blend of sports, creative arts, and mentorship, Camp Impact provides a safe, nurturing environment where kids build confidence, form friendships, and explore their faith in age-appropriate ways.
The church's influence is perhaps best captured in the stories of those it has touched. Jason Bostian, Director of Camp Impact, recalls how many children who came to faith during their camp years returned later as counselors, eager to invest in the next generation.
One particularly powerful story Pastor Daniel shared involved a young man who had attended Impact Church for years. Adopted at a young age, he found deep connection in a sermon on grace and belonging. The message resonated with his own life journey, leading him to publicly affirm his faith through baptism—a moving milestone for him, his family, and the church community.
The $500 gift Impact Church received through our 40 Years of Caring: Sharing the Love Across NC campaign will fully fund three weeks of Camp Impact for a child in need. That means one child can spend three full weeks in a safe, welcoming space—building confidence, forming friendships, and discovering purpose.
These funds also support the church's continued efforts to help people grow spiritually and prepare for an upcoming relocation that will allow them to remain accessible and centered in the heart of the community.
